She/Her
I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. I came up to Vermont in 2018 for college. I graduated Saint Michael's having majored in Equity Studies and Psychology with minors in Philosophy and Anthropology. There I was, very involved in the multicultural center, where I upheld many leadership roles and supported BIPoC, First-Generation, and International Students. I have also done some work with Mercy Connections, working in some of their educational classes. Most recently, I worked with the refugee and immigrant population, specifically New American youth in workshops pertaining to Social and Emotional Learning.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and playing video and board games. I tend to watch movies, shows, videos, and listen to podcasts that touch on themes of horror, comedy, social sciences and the humanities. I have found a deep love for yoga, spirituality, and singing. I am also a huge foodie and like to cook and share meals with others. I appreciate learning, understanding, and exploring new cultures and traditions.
I am so excited to be working at the Burlington Community Justice Center. I am looking forward to continuing working with and for the community!
