Geena Zick

Tamarack and Pretrial Services Coordinator

Originally from Pennsylvania, I moved to Vermont in 2016 and felt at home almost immediately. Since then, I’ve held a wide variety of jobs including waiting tables at a diner, working in retail on Church Street, doing forestry research in the Northeast Kingdom, and most recently, working with mothers who are currently incarcerated and providing support to their families throughout the state.

I strongly believe healing cannot happen alone, it requires connection and community. The BCJC does an amazing job of fostering spaces for healing to happen and I am honored to be a part of that.

Outside of work, I spend my time swimming in natural bodies of water, seeing live music, dancing, painting, and laughing with my friends. My rescue dog, Jenny, and I are attached at the hip and she simply must say hi to every person she sees.
